Following a £1.2m investment; the new purpose built library at Westcroft opened today, featuring a children’s section designed in the style of a knight’s castle and with new furniture throughout.

Mayor of Milton Keynes, Martin Petchey, performed the ribbon cutting ceremony before being joined by children from the local nurseries to bury the time capsule, which was donated by Kier, just outside of the building.

Westcroft Library is the third library that Kier has built and renovated in the Milton Keynes area over the last year, having previously refurbished Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central libraries.
